Staff were very helpful, rooms clean and food good.
Ground floor room (only one) was a little noisy and dark. However, good overall

Amazing and beautiful location in the restaurant on 2 nights, met expectation. It was also just next door to a delightful conservatory looking out onto the garden, a beautiful English garden and local areas such as Arundel. ...

Nice location--room was quiet although nextto a main road, the double glazing was excellent. The staff had put a heater in the room, which made it nice and warm on arrival.Free easily acceed WiFi
Basically, the place lacked any atmosphere, and although the staff were polite, they were not really forthcoming with conversation. The building has potential but is tired around the edges--flaking paint in bathroom--terrible toilet that required multiple flushing. I suppose that i prefer hotels that are not in a chain, but in this instance I would travel further to one of the budget chains with a good lively pub attached, for about £12 cheaper--allowing for breakfast. So all in all a bit non descript but OK for one night

a cozy stay with friendly hosts
The warm atmosphere created by the friendly owners. Our super clean room with a lovely four-poster bed provided a cozy retreat after a day of exploring.
The location was great though the amenities felt limited.

Initial presenation very good, food very good. Overall clenliness good. Location good for us as we needed to be near Petworth
Ceiling over bath needed attention, looked very scappy. Also not good for the elderly with poor eyesight as there aremany small steps. Brochure states that tea/coffe available all day but we had to wait until 1600 hrs before the staff came on

The hotel is conveniently close to the local golf clubs. A special mention to the delicious vegan breakfast they provided, which everyone loved.
My kids wished there were more activities for families with children.

Pleasant staff and resonable food
Outside a looks a bit scruffy, my room (6) was overhanging the main London Rd and roadworks traffic lights were just across the from my room, however secondary double glassing ensured a peaceful night.
