My stay here resembled visiting old friends rather than a typical hotel experience. The warm, cozy atmosphere complemented the charming antique aesthetics perfectly, making it feel inviting and home-like. The only downside was some noise from the surroundings at night, which made it difficult to sleep at times.

The breakfast at Chequers was an absolute treat—freshly made pancakes and an array of local jams had me swooning! The charming atmosphere and delightful garden added extra sparkle to our stay.

The only bummer was the lack of evening meals and an open bar. We appreciated the lovely proprietors bringing drinks to us, but we were hoping for more casual dining options during the night.

Just a good match for a lightning trip in Pulborough with exceptional value. The breakfast was magnificent, especially the perfectly fried eggs. Be sure to try the breakfast options.

I had such a lovely stay! The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was one of the best I've had. Everything's got this charming old-school feel with creaky floors and cozy nooks. Just a heads up, it can get a bit noisy because of the bells and old building vibes, so bring earplugs! Packed lunches were handy too.
